A higher-strength aluminum than 6061, used where 6061 isn't stiff or strong enough (aerospace brackets, tooling). Still machines cleanly at similar speeds to 6061, but is more prone to built-up edge on dull tools and is not weldable in the way 6061 is.
These are the preset values this tool starts from — every one is editable in the settings panel once you load a file. They're cncquoter's own defaults, not a market survey.
